Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Pinoy Mini Games: 2 Player (formerly “Pinoy Quiz”; the “App”) handles information. The App is published by Mert Korkmaz under the name MertApp (“we”, “us”). It applies to the App on iOS and Android.
In short: Pinoy Mini Games has no accounts, no sign-up and no in-app purchases, and it works offline. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or location. Your stats, scores and themes stay on your device. The App shows ads through Google AdMob, and Google may process device and ad-related data to deliver and measure those ads.
1. Information stored only on your device
The App saves the following locally on your device so the games work:
- settings (language, sound, music and vibration, and your last game mode and CPU level),
- game statistics, quiz best scores and streaks,
- unlocked themes and the timing of ads (for example when a 30-minute ad-free break ends), so ads are not shown too often.
This information is never sent to us. We have no servers that receive it. Deleting the App, or clearing its data, removes it. Settings → Restore defaults resets the settings only.
Earlier versions of the App offered sign-in through Firebase. The current version no longer uses Firebase, accounts or sign-in, and does not send anything to those services.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App is free and is supported by ads served by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC: banner ads on menu screens, an occasional full-screen ad between matches, and optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch for themes, quiz help or an ad-free break. Ads are never shown during a match. To show ads, prevent fraud and measure ad performance, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
- device identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID or, only if you allow it, Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA),
- IP address (used to estimate an approximate location, such as country),
- device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, language and app version,
- ad interaction data, such as ad views and taps, and diagnostic data such as crashes of the ad SDK.
This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. We do not receive information that identifies you personally. Google’s use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Your choices
- Tracking permission (iOS): on iPhone and iPad the App asks for your permission before the IDFA can be used for ads. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, ads are still shown but are not based on tracking. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Ad personalization (Android): you can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device’s Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: where the law requires your consent for ads, the App asks for it with a consent message before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time from Settings → Ad privacy choices in the App.
- Offline play: all games work without internet. When your phone is offline, no ads are loaded and no ad data is sent.
- Uninstalling the App stops all data collection by the App.
4. Legal bases (EEA and UK users)
Local storage of your stats and settings is necessary to provide the games you asked for. Personalized advertising is based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. Non-personalized advertising, fraud prevention and ad measurement are based on our legitimate interest in keeping the App free.
5. Children
Pinoy Mini Games is a general-audience party game. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will help remove it.
6. Data retention and security
Because we do not run servers for the App, we do not store your data. Data stored on your device stays there until you delete the App or clear its data. Data processed by Google is kept in line with Google’s own retention policies.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, Turkey’s KVKK, or US state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to its processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold personal data about you, most requests are handled through your device settings or directly with Google. You may still contact us and we will help, and you may complain to your local data protection authority, such as the National Privacy Commission in the Philippines.
8. Third-party links
Ads in the App may lead to websites or apps we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example when the App gains new features. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will also be announced in the App’s store listing release notes.
