Somatic Mobility

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Somatic Mobility (also listed as Somatic Mobility & Stretching, the “App”) handles information on Android and iOS. The App is published by Mert Korkmaz under the name MertApp (“we”, “us”). Contact: hezarfentech@gmail.com.

No account is required. Movement history and wellness check-ins stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them. Google AdMob processes advertising and device data to support the free App.

1. Information stored on your device

The App stores session history (including dates, routines, duration and completion), before/after wellness check-ins, favorites, program progress, onboarding goals and focus areas, and preferences such as language, appearance, audio and reminders. It also stores advertising frequency counters locally. These records support progress displays and recommendations generated on your device.

We do not operate an App backend that receives these records. We do not send your check-ins, body-area selections, goals or session history to Google AdMob or a runtime AI service. The App does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, Apple Health or Health Connect. Advertising services may infer approximate location from an IP address.

2. Export, restore and device backups

Profile → Export backup creates a JSON file with session history, including check-ins, favorites and program progress. The file is not encrypted by the App. Anyone with access to it can read it. You choose its destination using the system share sheet; a cloud drive, email service or other recipient handles it under its own privacy practices. We do not receive the file unless you choose to send it to us.

Profile → Restore backup reads the file you select and merges supported records into your existing local data. Restore does not replace existing session records. Device or operating-system backups may also include App data, depending on your settings. Previously exported files and system backups are separate copies.

3. Advertising and Google services

The App uses Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP address, approximate location inferred from IP, device/app information, advertising and other device identifiers, ad impressions and clicks, other app interactions, performance information and crash diagnostics. These are used for advertising delivery, personalization where permitted, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. Consent status and choices are also processed to manage advertising permissions.

On Android, identifiers may include the Advertising ID and app set ID. On iOS, access to the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) depends on Apple's tracking permission. We may receive aggregate ad performance reports, rather than your local movement records.

Google and advertising providers process data under their own policies and may process it in countries other than yours. See Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services. We do not sell your local wellness records or use them to target ads. Advertising-related sharing and any rights to opt out are governed by applicable law and the choices described below.

4. Advertising choices and permissions

Consent can be withdrawn through available privacy controls. Where consent is required for advertising storage, access or personalization, that processing depends on consent. Local features operate to provide the service you request; support correspondence is handled to answer your request. Other permitted processing, such as security and fraud prevention, depends on the applicable legal basis and provider practices.

5. Voice guidance and reminders

Guidance uses installed system text-to-speech voices. The App does not record your voice or send movement instructions to a cloud speech API. Voice availability depends on installed voices and device services. Core instructions remain readable when a voice is unavailable.

Reminders are local and opt-in. Notification permission is requested when you enable a reminder. You can disable reminders in Profile or revoke notification permission in your device settings.

6. Support messages

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use this to provide support, investigate issues and keep necessary correspondence. Please avoid sending sensitive wellness information or a complete backup unless it is needed for your request. Email providers also handle messages under their own policies.

7. Retention, deletion and security

Local records remain until you remove them or the App's local data. Profile → Reset local data clears session history, check-ins, favorites, program progress and focus answers, and resets advertising frequency counters. It retains language/theme, audio preferences, onboarding completion, reminder settings and SDK consent choices. Disable reminders separately if desired. To remove all local App storage, use the device's App data controls where available or uninstall the App. Restoring an operating-system backup may restore earlier data.

Deletion in the App does not erase previously exported files, cloud/system backups or information processed by Google. Delete those copies or use the relevant provider's controls. Google determines retention for data it processes under its policies. We keep support correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve requests, maintain relevant records or comply with legal obligations.

Local App storage benefits from your device's security protections. Exported JSON files are readable, and no method of storage or transfer can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device and backups.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a data protection authority. Use local export/deletion and device privacy controls for records kept on your device. Contact us for support-related information or help identifying the relevant provider. We do not have a server copy of your local records and cannot retrieve or erase them remotely.

9. Children and third-party destinations

The App is a general wellness product and is not directed at children under 13 or the applicable minimum age in their country. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can address it.

External links, advertisements, email and sharing destinations are governed by their respective providers' policies. This page is hosted by GitHub Pages; GitHub may process technical request information such as IP addresses under the GitHub Privacy Statement.

10. Changes and contact

We will post policy updates here with a revised effective date. Where required, we will provide notice or request consent before materially changing processing.
