Terms of Use
These terms govern use of AI Speak French: Practice Me, provided by Mert App. Use the app only for lawful language learning and practice.
License and educational use
You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on compatible devices in accordance with these terms and the applicable store terms. The AI coach and roleplays are language exercises. Generated replies, translations and corrections can be inaccurate. Medical, emergency or professional roleplays do not provide real medical, emergency, legal or other professional advice.
AI and privacy
The app uses Google Gemini to provide online AI responses. Version 1.0.5 and later uses an authenticated backend once that service is enabled; earlier versions may contact Gemini directly. AI features are intended for adults aged 18 or older under the Gemini API service terms. Messages, recent conversation history and selected learning preferences are transmitted only after the app's AI disclosure consent. Do not submit confidential, identifying or sensitive information. Use fictional names and contact details for roleplays. Speech recognition may use online processing through your device's platform service. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Free access and Premium
Free accounts receive up to six successful AI messages per day, reset at midnight UTC. Premium provides ongoing access to AI conversations and the available Premium practice features. Reasonable request-rate limits and temporary service interruptions can apply. If an AI generation request fails, the app does not substitute a simulated answer. An internet connection and availability of the app's service providers are required.
Weekly and monthly subscriptions
The app offers auto-renewing weekly and monthly Premium subscriptions. The app and the Apple purchase confirmation display the applicable localized price, billing period and any introductory offer for which your account is eligible. An offer is not guaranteed for users who have already redeemed an introductory offer. If a free trial applies, its duration and the recurring price after it are shown before purchase.
Apple processes payments and renewals under its subscription terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account settings before the renewal deadline shown by Apple. Manage or cancel your subscription at Apple subscription settings. Restore Purchases can recover eligible existing purchases. Apple handles refund requests under its policies. Deleting the app or app account does not cancel your subscription.
Conduct and availability
Do not use the app to generate unlawful, abusive or harmful content, impersonate others, bypass usage limits, extract credentials, or interfere with the service. We may change or suspend features where needed for maintenance, security, safety or service-provider availability. You retain responsibility for the text you submit.
Account deletion
Profile → Delete Account requests removal of the app's local and cloud learning records, its AI usage record and Firebase account. An internet connection is needed to complete cloud deletion. Store purchase records and service-provider records are governed by the respective providers. Subscription cancellation is separate.
Ownership and limitation of liability
Mert App retains its rights in the app, excluding third-party components and content. The app is provided subject to applicable law; no term excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. We do not guarantee AI accuracy or uninterrupted availability.
Apple and third-party terms
This agreement is between you and Mert App, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. Any applicable app warranty remedies and refund obligations are governed by Apple's terms and applicable law. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you. Comply with the applicable terms of Apple and other services used with the app.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, subject to applicable mandatory consumer protections. For support or questions, contact Mert App through hezarfentech@gmail.com.
